WOW! Interesting discussion. Wothwhile information. I think I'll opt, not to buy tickets online. I'd hate to have a lengthy court battle on one front or another, either suing or shooting someone over swindling me. I'm trying to live smarter, not stupid. Thanks

you are right. my apologies. they are up front, that is what I like about them. they are what they say they are. can't ask for much more than that. so maybe it IS okay to play jackpot games there. Hmmmmm.....

No one here loves anyone more than we love you todd. I was speaking specifically about betslips.com. Their website clearly states there is no guarantee they will not run off with the tickets. I have no issue with the fact that they buy the tickets. I am a member there. They are what they say they are. But they point out this very issue when it comes to the jackpot games.

That issue has been covered many, many times here. I think you are focusing on the wrong risk. Lottery jackpots are very publicly paid out over a somewhat lengthy process, and there is plenty of time to legally intervene in the case that someone tried to take your ticket and run off... [ More ]

Hello LP Family-

I know we have all types of polls and subject post, so I realise this may have been covered. However, I am not on the site 24/7, so bare with me.

I'm thinking of buying California Lottery tickets. What I'd like some feedback on is, does anyone knows if an out of state person has purchased and won lotteries after having purchased their tickets online?
