OK, Randy...got my fingers crossed for you.

I checked / posted about 15 states this afternoon. If there has been 3 doubles in a row, there is no play. One or two doubles make the final selection process easier. Three singles makes the final decision more difficult. This is logical, but perhaps we'll find it works better if there is at least one double in the last three. Maybe I'll have more input on that after I see tonight's results.

Here's another little method for your perusal. It's easy and only takes a couple minutes. I call it the Three Draw McGraw .

Enter the last 3 draws in the input box. Highlight all the pairs that came in once. Then mask doubles, triples, D.H. (draw history) and standard colors.

Mask HHH,LLL,OOO,EEE. If your last three draws have been all singles, you'll see you have a lot of combos. In this case use only the hottest EEO/EOO and HHL/HLL. Tie-breaker goes to most recent. If you have... [ More ]

The discrepancy is probably due to a slightly different draw history. I used the last calendar year and calendar month. I get them from Todd's inspect tool and copy/paste that to pick3stats.

Yesterday and today I only came up with the 1-3 pair for WI. I see you have the 1-9 pair too.

A couple things...I'm thinking this might be more effective in RNG draws such as WI. I'm testing AZ, CA, MO, NM and WI. I decided not to mask anything except repeats because this is a test with... [ More ]

Retxx, yes, if you enter your three hot and cold digits, the remaining 4 digits will be considered medium. A blank box means medium.

As far as picking the right ABC, that's a toughie. The way I do it is look at the hot and cold ABC's. If there's a standout cold, I go with that one. If there's no standout cold then I play the standout hot. Usually one of those circumstances shows up. But it is very much a judgement call.

7 combos that you predicted for tonight only i left them in order. it looks real prommising.

i see you eliminated 5 combos what else did you do to get rid of them?

sorry for some confusing way :) when using pick3stats we must get use the words EXCLUDE which mean when we select the patterns it mean we deselect the pattern or digit. but for draw order it mean you select the patterns.

i think stefan, rick and other's wrote pretty clear how to use pick3stats

yup that right the missing represent zero value.

8.1 deselect one digit from last hit

8.2 if they have double in last 7 draws use them

Sorry you didn't win...I haven't even checked IL results tonight yet. Too busy gabbing here. But I'm hyped up on the 1 year-to-1 month/ cold-to-hot pairs thing. Yesterday's IL midday and tonight's WI for two hits in a 24-hour trial. Obviously it takes longer than that to prove a profit but I'm encouraged by the initial results. (Note that 139 came in ascending order...one of the 4.5 on average).

Anyhow, let's keep sharing our angles. We'll get it!

Cool...WI computer stuck with the 1-3 pair tonight. Had the box, but I wish I had written down the ABC's to see if I could have gotten the straight. Gotta work on that or stick with one standard pattern to ensure the proper amount of statistical hits. I'm still prone to sticking with ABC and AO to ensure one straight out of 4.5 correct combos on average.

I got lost following your use of select/exclude and deselect .

Would you be kind enough to clarify your steps 8, 8.1 and 8.2 using

the highlight/unhighlight and mask/unmask options of pick3stats tool?

In your use only the missing in step 6, I take it to mean:

mask those with non-zero (0) stat to select LDS and Root Sum .

and use missing draw order in step 7 to mean:

click on the draw order with zero (0) stat .

Am I correct?

Right you are, Randy. The doubles in IL eve. will start hitting and often (like Chicago voters). This trend can't last forever and it will be a fierce bite when the jaws clamp down..

I did some picks on the board for WI tonight. Looks like the 1-3 pair is the choice for cold-to-hot pairs in Badger computer country. Always thought that 'moving averages' work in Lottery just like stock maket trading.

thats good to hear i was doing the same but i used the hot pairs from jan 1 than woked my way down taking out the 0 only pairs and adding the new hot ones until i got down to 20 draws.

so i had hot pairs and pairs with atleast 1 hit in them. but just the ones that were highlighted

from the history. anyhow be careful with this doubles will bite you in the butt.

I'm trying something similar to your pairs approach. I inputed the last year's worth of draws and noted all the blue pairs. Then I inputed the last 30 days of draws. The red pairs in the 30 draw history that were blue pairs for the last year of draws are the pairs to highlight.

IL midday has only one pair (46) and eve. has three (23, 25, 56).

Using this approach caught yesterdays midday (648) and playing the coldest number order last 30 days had it straight.

Blackapple I keep the draws separate. The difference between standard colors and highlighted is....when you highlight the pairs only combos containing those pairs are highlighted. So by clicking on the standard colors you are masking all the rest.

1. use last 21 draws to get hot, medium, cold

2. select the hot, medium cold from digit

3. leave CHM, CHH, MHH, HHH

4. leave OOE, EEO, HLL, LHH

5. leave unmacth and double (since texas midday have alot of unmatch therefore i use doubles) :)

6. use last 7 draws to select lds and root sum (use only the missing)

7. use missing draw order

I disagree with your statement about $50-$500 wins vs. winning an upper tier jackpot game prize. The odds-to-payout ratio is clearly in favor of the pick 3 and 4 player.

I just want to make a comment re: masking and highlighting because they are exact opposite functions.

Check out the key at the bottom of the page regarding highlighting and masking.

When you click on a light green pair in the pairs section, and it turns dark green, you have highlighted it, not masked it. If you click on a digit and it turns dark, you're masking it, not highlighting it, etc.

The darker versions of yellow, green and red in the pyramid are the highlighted combos.... [ More ]

Frisky rick is right the numbers are screwy in illinois right now the only thing i can see the your missing is this. look at your draw history . go back 200 draws mask the hot pairs. now shorten that to 50 draws. look at the pairs. now go to say 20 draws look at the pairs. the idea is to find the pairs that seem to stick together. in wisconsin i narrowed that down to three pairs that seem to go together. 36 70 51 now i make combos with those pairs. i will go to the pairs and unmaskmask 36 70 51... Don't give up hope right now in IL. All IL players are having a hard time. The numbers are just coming in weird. (All high, all low, all even one draw, all odd in the next, multiple repeats, a triple...doubles hot in midday, cold in evening, etc., etc....could go on all day with this). There seems no way to get a handle on it lately. You're not the only one experiencing this problem. Might have something to do with the new ballsets. I don't know.

I am from Illinois and I call myself doing what rick explain in the thread , but for some reason I do not come up with the winning niumbers, I use all evening for evening and all midday for midday I separated them. I put in the last 10 numbers, sometimes 15. hit go , mask all the red pairs to the left. next In the digit part I assign three hot(red) 3 colds(blue) then I go to the flip down part and assign hot cold warm I know is (black) don't bother thoses. then I go to ooo, eee, oee,... Amazing it is, Raven. That's exactly why I added it. Combine the LDS feature with some simple masking-techniques and playing Pick 3 will not only become affordable for everyone, but profitable as well, especially for those players who took the time to experiment with it. I guess I just need more practice. Statistics is not my strong point. I was masking the medium digits mainly to narrow down the playable combos. I just assumed that there was a greater chance of the hot and cold numbers hitting. But you are right... I will try some other things and see what happens.

coocoocoo are you entering the 3 hot numbers and the 3 cold numbers into the boxes as called for?It may help.

Although this is after the fact here is what I did to come up with the winning number here.

last 10 draws

hilite hot pairs

mask double and triple

mask 000 hhh lll

assign digits 3hot 3 cold

mask standard colors

mask all except mmh

use cba ao for output

It gave me 9 numbers to play

Yes, I am clicking on the standard colors option. Here's an example of what I am doing:

Last 15 draws: 062 005 220 638 351 945 853 809 036 365 727 550 674 888 842

Then I highlight the hot combos: 02, 05, 06, 27, 35, 36, 38, 88

Mask the medium digits: 2, 3, 6

I then masked the standard colors which left me with 14 combos: 005 059 015 058 088 889 057 188 888 488 588 788 045 055

Other than that, with the method you as you described it, I'm surprised you're getting any combos at all.

Click on the standard colors box to mask them...I think that's the problem.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I thought I was getting the hang of it and when I started to do some back tests, I very rarely got a hit. I must have run over 50 back tests and no success. The process I am trying is to run about 15 draws. Then I highlight the hot pairs, and then mask digits that are neither not nor cold. If I still have too many combos, then I mask the odd/even and hot/colds that are neither not nor cold. Does this make sense

I keep the midday and evening draws separate. Using the CMH method, yesterday IL midday produced only 8 plays and evening produced 9 plays. You should have come up with the same results using CMH method as I described. If you want to reduce your number of combos down to one or two, then look at the hot (red) sums and play only the combo(s) in that column.

Hi,

I found and fixed a small bug in the program : the color codes (red-black-blue) for sums and roots didn't display correctly when 2 or more different sets of draw history data were entered during one session,... (the values ware OK though...) That has been fixed ! I suggest it's best to clear you cache before you go back to pick3stats.com . Problem solved !

I noticed for Illinois with that 668 I experiment with the pick 3 tool that working with all evening produce that midday number, and that where I made my mistake at. Rick G what did you use for that CMH boxed all evening or all midday /or cobination? what works best for you in Illinois. how do cut some of your number down at least a little.

I'd love to give you suggestions for an expanded users manual but honestly I didn't have to go there in the first place. It seems pretty cut and dried to me...highlight and mask whatever you want. The nuances that you had in mind when programming it would be interesting to hear...an advanced users guide so to speak. I know you have things in there I'm not aware of.

I'm an old horse player. Spent 20 years playing the ponies before I got into the lottery. My favorite book was by Tom Ainslie and it was a bible and compendium of systems / methods. The edges of the book pages were black from 20 years of use from me testing and using those methods.

CMH Method

Use last 10 draws. Highlight hot pairs. Mask doubles and triples. Mask OOO, EEE, HHH, LLL.

Assign digits as cold, medium or hot. Assign three digits as hot, four digits as medium and 3 digits as cold. There will be ties and in that case the digit that came in most recently wins the tie for being hotter.

Example: 694 842 684 254 604 259 165 295 483 765

Hit occurrences:

0 = 1

1 = 1

2 = 4

3 = 1

4 = 6

5 = 5

6 = 5

7 = 1

8 = 3

9 = 3

Repeater method:

If you don't mind repeats here is a way to come up with which one to play. Use a 30 draw history. Highlight all red occurences and mask all non-red occurerences in all categories on the program.

Usually there is only one combo left and it has played in the last 30 draws (not always, but that's OK too). Play it in all the red number orders, straight.

Thanks Stefan and Paurths..Yes it worked for Pa...I like the next draw idea..Hope this info can be used to narrow down the picks so not so many picks..53 is alot..Yes Stefan I used the sum 000 as it was a green color and I know tripples are way way way over due for the night draw..Plus BAs full moon trips..Hes always right on the trips on full moon and new moon..

Win D and Richm, thanks for sharing your ideas. Win D's example of spotting cold trends is great. Nothing's sweeter than an ice cold digit for doubles (or triples).

Stefan, I'm using the hot sums to narrow my picks down to the bare bones minimum of one or two. It's a good filter for the po' folk (like me).

Tonight I entered the whole 365 day history for Ga. Eve. and then did 2 things wrong. Number one... I didn't follow my gut instinct and study doubles like I really knew that I should. Then ....number 2 thing I did wrong was not pay attention to Stefan's Pairs Section Window. If I had paid more attention to the Doubles Pairs I would have played at least one Double 66 ....

I know that would work more often than not. I'm seeing it every day in IL. For players with a little more to spend that would be the way to go.

I don't normally play any cold situations. But in the case of number order, I think I'm going with cold from now on.

Regarding number orders (ABC, ACB, etc...), it sure looks like many short term draw histories (+/- 10 draw results) tend to evolve to ballanced values (black values). Regarding number order; This is a tough call on which to use.

Using a 10 draw history taken from the last ten IL midday and evening draws as an example:

Mid (one draw was a double so it's not included):

ABC - 0

ABC - 3

BAC - 2

BCA - 1

CAB - 1

CBA - 2

From what I'm seeing this is an ideal time to play the overdue ABC. It should come in within the next couple draws.

IL eve:

ABC - 1

ACB - 2

BAC - 1

BCA - 3

CAB - 2

CBA - 1
