I would move to one of those Disney Towns where they do everything outside and you only have to worry about the inside of your house. Life time pass to the parks, heaven. And I'd buy one of those empty missle silos just in case things go wonky. BobP

The movie was filmed only a ways from my town. My youngest sister knows a few people who appeared in the movie. It was a big deal around here. lol.

GameGrl has a wonderful idea and maybe winning money can help someone achieve some of those goals. Personally, as long as I'm not stuck in one place, I can live almost anywhere. I'd have enough money to hop on a plane to visit relatives. I definitely would move out of Florida because it's too hot for me most of the time. We are looking at Reno, NV area. Nice climate, one of the best areas in the United States for cost of living. No State Income Tax!! We love Southern California, but it is getting too expensive to live here.

For me it would be some place very obscure, not a place a jackpot winner would go to- no trendy, yuppie place - and cool summers would be a must.

Maybe hit a jackpot and live in one of those empty missle silos up in the Dakotas.

I don't think I know of a place with a good tax structure, (maybe Florida or Nevada) but I would probably stay in my state just in a different neighborhood. Although I might decide to move to one of the other states where some of my family lives.

People talk about moving if they win, but where is the best place to live if you win a big jackpot?

For one thing, I'd like a place with a nice climate, good tax structure so I can keep more of what I won, somewhere easy to remain relatively anonymous, somewhere peaceful and quiet.

Does anyone know of such a place?
