Actually Raven, it's because there is no balanced budget in effect by the 1st of July. State mandates that a balanced budget be intact by July 1st, or by law the State can't operate (bull)...!

If he is trying to help close a $4.5 billion budget deficit, this doesn't look like the way to do it. He may end up with more of a deficit than he bargained for in the long run.

If I read this right, the New Jersey Lottery (does that mean Pick 3 and Pick 4 ???) has been shut down by the governor.
