Oh, you guys, it's like 6:30am here and i decided to log on while everyone is sleeping....i thought i had a pm here and it was this thread....i am in tears after reading and when Dezmond wakes up this morning and reads this, he is gonna be blown away and teary eyed, just like me:)!

I know that he just wanted to say thank you to you guys for your prayers and support and I am sure, he isn't gonna be expecting this when he reads it.

Hello Everyone:

I am Dezmond, son of PaTrice or as you know her, Ducksafloat.

My mom pulled up a thread requesting prayer for me and let me read it. Even though she had emailed me copies of the prayers, I must tell you that I found them not only overwhelming but remarkable.

Just the thought of strangers praying for me and others in uniform has given me much to carry away as I am soon to return to Iraq.
