common sense tells you that if you did not claim a lottery ticket then chances are you are not owed any money from one.

if someone mails me something saying i won a million dollars i'll just tell them to kiss my ass and have a good day!

Anyone get a call recently saying they've won a brand new Cadillac Escalade? I hope it was a scam, because otherwise I lost a brand new SUV! This place called the Awards Center

Never was offered a prize of an Escalade - but I believe you did not lose a brand new SUV!

Did you enter anything where that was the prize?

Of course you can be bold and call the 800 and see just how slick the person on the other end is

Yes,

I got one about two weeks ago, and one from the same company last year, and was pretty close to giving them more information. However, I became suspicious and started asking them why they need my bank name and other details. I got a third grade answer, and never responded again.

Last week, I got one, and told them to F... off, since I used to be a British subject I know it wasn't from the lotto because I play the UK lottery. But it does look real for any takers out there.

Same old scam, only the name of the lottery changes. If you didn't pay to play in a legitimate lottery, you can't win. These things are all an attempt to drain your bank account. Some will even send you a check to deposit if you will pay the taxes out of it, then the check turns out to be bad even though the bank thought it was good at first. I've already won hundreds of times according to these scammers. BobP
