NY Lotto is a bit like the late UK Lotto Extra. If you don't win the jackpot, but you win a lower tier prize, the return is just over zero.

It is very difficult to even take off one day. There are so many different things that I am constantly updating throughout the site that I end up working on Lottery Post 365 days per year. Kind of like not being able to take a break from breathing.

It was an interesting add-on game. It uses the same results as regular UK Lotto, but it is an all-or-nothing game -- you either win the big jackpot or you win nothing. No small prizes. It made the jackpot get much bigger, but I think people like winning small consolation prizes.

I wasn't even aware they were ending the game. This is what is on the UK Lottery web site:

Lotto Extra has come to an end, with the final draw held on 8th July 2006.
