Whatever!

It will stop some, but it won't stop most or at least very many (Thousands).

People still download music, videos and pirated softwares, not to mention Cracks .

The FTC and the FDA, have been trying to put DR. Hulda Clarck in jail for many years now, maybe for more than 10 years, I don't think that they have been able to yet.

They also took down the BioElectrifier sites, yet there are still sites where they give you the info for free and or sell the electronics, same with I... [ More ]

I believe it is exempt in the same state for lotteries, provided that state approves it.

In other words, the State of California could approve my playing the lotto over the internet by purchasing my tickets from the State of California!!

The way I understood it on C-Span, it would only be in your own state and with your state lottery. I don't know about horse racing, but I think it is the same. Can't cross state lines.

An article in the St Louis Post-Dispatch said that lotteries and horse racing are exempt - it also stated online gambling is a $12,000,000,000 a year business.

Believe it still has to pass the senate before it's made law.

Email or fax your senators if you're concerned ... have heard they do not open snail mail since the mail scare after 9-11, but yes, they will at least give you a canned reply to having recieved an email.

You need to tell them what you think ..... they can't read your mind.

This bill is up for debate on CSPAN1 right now.

It would appear that it's passage in the House is considered a done deal, since Democrats (....praise those who truly care about America's working men and women!!....) have been using their rare opportunity for extended floor time to argue for an up or down vote on increasing the minimum wage, for the first time in 9 years.

Let's hope the waste-of-legislator's-time internet gambling bill dies in the Senate.
