If you don't have that much money, then I'd suggest not playing until you've read some posts here. It's very easy to get hooked to the point where you'll end up thinking the lottery owes you if you haven't won in a long time. That's when it gets out of hand and possibly using money that isn't expendable. If you can afford a couple bucks a day until you get the hang of it, then that's practical.

After learning some of the tricks of the trade, you can then bet more knowing you're more familiari... [ More ]

Depends on the game purplelover is playing, but your advice is right about starting with the pick 3.

What game or games are you most interested in?

What kind of lottery budget do you have?

I would suggest starting out with the p-3 game because it has the least amount of odds to deal with.

Go to the thread on this systems forum labeled "a spectacular pick 3 tool" authored by Stefan. It is a free pick 3 tool that can help get you started. There's some good ideas in that thread. It's working for me.
