Wednesday 8/23 had a payout of under 85k, by far the lowest payout yet for a LOP drawing. Will LOP be gone before PA Unlucky for Life

The Wednesday 7/26 drawing paid out just over 95k, once again setting an all-time low for the game. No doubt one of Ohio's proposals will replace LOP.

Cash Only, so 99K is the lowest LOP winnings so far? I hope Ohio doesn't go for Win for Life game [no cash option] if they retire LOP. I think Ohio should go back to classic SLP game if LOP retires with cash option jackpot starting at $1 million.

I think Rolling Cash5 will probably survive as long as Buckeye5, the game it replaced.

I don't have a problem with how LOP works; what I don't like is that Ohio does not use a floating percentage for the cash-to-annuity ratio. Lump-sum winners get stiffed.

Ohio was considering a lifetime prize game. Ohio gives scratch winners a choice of cash or annuity, so I can see Ohio offering a cash option in a lifetime game. Regardless, I don't see LOP lasting much longer, as the jackpot was hit in a drawing that would otherwise have paid out the lowest for a Saturday drawing.... [ More ]

Nebraska pick 5 (out of 49) is routinely 75K, so I take my chances and aim for a PB pick 5 (200K), I don't think the odds are THAT MUCH different - when you get right down to it. Just forget 50-55 and play 1-49. And the way PB has been hitting lately, just forget about playing 1-9, and 50-55, and just play numbers between 10 and 49. (and as soon as I say that.........

Let's not go rooting for Lot 'O Play's demise. If they get rid of it, they will probably replace it with a win-for-life type game, which will most likely be devoid of a cash option. That's the trend right now.

You're playing the wrong game, the Rolling Cash5 will payout a jackpot of $300K+ tonight if there's a winner and the odds of winning it is 1:500K. If there isn't a winner tonight then the jackpot will roll to an even larger amount with the same odds of winning. You've just got to play smarter and pick your games at the right time. Good luck.
