Oh you wouldn't believe some of the things people are capable of doing in an Online Business, I think I have seen it all but hey maybe I haven't and I am sure Todd has had his share as well. I have had books stolen by people who some how knew how to get past paypal without actually paying but yet got my book as well even paypal was baffled!

I have already sent everyone with a credit card transaction since June 1st a PM.

Whoever who left me the message, I just want to be clear about this: I just want to make sure you're not going to reverse the charge on your credit card, because that affects me directly. That's all. Anyone that's self-employed here knows the issue. You give a good service and honest price and you're expecting the same respect in return. When you're ripped off in a transaction like this, it's not the money that's as important as the issue of trust that you placed in the person you conducted business with. We all want to trust everyone because most people are good by nature. When someone rips you off it hurts more in the mind than the wallet.

Sorry can't help you with speednet. I use paypal to collect payments. All I can tell you is that it would have to be one of the people who recently bought a premium account. Seeing that you have their mail address from the purchase why not write each person who has and ask if it was them because maybe they wont see this post?

Speednet cannot identify a voice in which someone states I have a charge on my credit card from Speednet. I guess I will dispute it.

How would you propose that I identify who left the message, other than doing what I am doing

Someone just left my company (Speednet) a voice mail saying they were declining the charge on their credit card.

Don't do that.

I guess you didn't notice the many reminders that SPEEDNET is what is listed on your credit card when you buy a premium membership.

If I get a declined charge, I suspend the person's membership, so you need to reverse course, tell me who you are, and if you called your bank to reverse the charge, hop right back on the phone with them and tell them not to.... [ More ]
