In my testing method, I use paper balls to randomly select numbers in PB, CA SLP, and MM.

Sometimes I use the random method. I randomly decide to place post-it numbered items through out my office. Whatever post-its are stuck to the objects by the end of the day are the numbers i play!

Three things it accomplishes:

1:It irritates my boss!

2: Anyone who comes into my office and knocks the postit tagged item is actually Helping my system!

3: It creates the impression that i am on the move! I mean really now, if I took the time to place them there , there has GOT to be som... [ More ]

Quick picks and family birthdays are commonly used but if you want to use statistics, PowerBall has been a 5/55 + 1/42 for the last eighty-nine drawings. Since then all the white balls WB(1-55) have hit 2-15 times and all the red balls PB(1-42) except 02,04,09 and 40 have have hit 1-8 times. The top 16 WB 50,54,43,45,10,15,35,02,04,18,23,26,30,37,41 and 48 have hit 10-15 times and the top 5 PB 14,37,17,10 and 23 have hit 4-8 times. A lot of people use quick picks, a lot of people pick numbers that are personal to them. Others get into the statistics of the thing and analyze the numbers: how often they come up, which ones are 'overdue', etc. Some people play a set of numbers for years, others change up every draw.

You just have to find a method that you're comfortable using.

Can someone give me an idea on picking some powerball numbers? Kind of new to the lottery games, I live in NC, and we just started the lottery this year.
