Thanks for the inspirational messages emily. Sometimes people don't realize how blessed they are... A diagnosis of cancer for oneself or a loved one can put life into perspective really really quickly.

years ago when i was diagnosed with cancer - my fear overwhelmed me. all i could say is what do i do now? . how can i get through this?.

a good friend of mine (actually my ex-husband) gave me a passage from Voltaire's Candid. A monk was asked what he would do if the world were to end tomorrow - he said he would keep plowing his garden.

that has stayed with me and given me much comfort in times of need. hope some of you find comfort... [ More ]
