Would someone think that wheeling the 8 hottest numbers in single form be a good way to get a hit within 7 days? I think it would, considering the relative inexpensive properties of it and given that singles hit more often.

Why making it so complicated ?

Go to pick3stats.com (it's free - no need to download anything)

step 1 : mask 2 digits (8 digits remain unmasked)

step 2 : mask doubles and triples

Result : 56 combinations -> see OUTPUT or graph

I guess you can call that list I posted for all States from an 8 number wheel Lee. It has all numbers except an 8 and a 5.

Actually an 8-digit wheel provides awesome coverage with a reasonable amount of boxed combinations IMHO.
