From my earlier post:

Simply by playing the last winning combination, a player could have matched 3 or better 13.4% of the time during the last 1000 drawings which is 0.9% better than the random overall odds of 12.5% of picking a winning ticket.

In the above scenario, a player could have played Cash25 for 5 years, spent $1000, matched three 121 times for $121 and matched four 13 times for $130 for a total return of $251.

Has anyone been working on a formula for picking one line to play

My First Choice would be 5 number games, second would be 6 number state jackpots and third would be mega millions powerball as an extreme longshot. Pick 3 is pari-mutuel so i don't play it, no pick 4 in california.

MegaMillions first and Powerball a close second. I play pick 4 every so many years. But, if I spend money, I might as well swing for the fences. Thats why I chose the two large national lotteries. I love swinging for the fences. One day I guess I'll hit a home run.

I don't actually play the West Virginia Cash25 because I live in Mid-Ohio but I like picking combinations for it on the prediction board because it's the easiest pick-6 game in the country. It has the smallest number field and the lowest odds. The player chooses six numbers from 1 to 25. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:177,100.

Eighty-one percent of all the winning numbers drawn have been in the previous six drawings up to 5 times.

I voted pick 5, because to me it's the middle game with a decent payout. Bigger prize then pick 3 but not a humdinger like the jackpot games which seem so far out of reach.

more or less i play all marylands games. except for the 1 dollar scratchers or any scratchers whose top prizes are less than 10 grand. I only buy scratchers when i win pick 3/4 games.

pick 4 is my main game but i am on the down side for a while now. can't put my finger on why i haven't hit a straight. All my favorite picks for maryland come out everywhere but here. Quess i'll just have to hold on tight and hope for the best.
