I think it would be very interesting to see Hot Lotto expand enough to compete DIRECTLY with NY Lotto (eg Connecticut joining HL.) Which game is better: odds of 1:46 to win a minimum prize of $1, or 1:16 to win at least $2

In 1996 it took only one rollover for NY Lotto to reach $10 million. Now it takes SEVEN rollovers.

NY Lotto might as well be drawn by RNG. It's a bad game no matter how it's drawn.

Bradly_60, was the draw computerized in RNG or ball drawn? If it was ball drawn, then that's fine. If it was RNG, that was screwed

Why would ANYBODY want to play NY Lotto after finding out Saturday night's prizes? Even at $30m it's a very bad bet.

Quite a draw!

544 frustrated people who played 5-10-15-20-25-30 and won a tank of gas.

The bonus ball was 53, and the person who won second prize won on a QP. I want to get back into this game, but it's tough when the jackpot never reaches $10m.

Actually, there were also one winner in Manhattan, two in Queens, and one in Monroe County (Rochester area.)

How come no comment on the 5/6 and 4/6 prizes

It is strange, but it doesn't shock me that so many people won the top prize. Lots of players tend to play those type of numbers.

Isn't that crazy??? all multiples of 5...has that ever happened before?

6 people ended up hitting the jackpot sharing 8 million. The winning tickets were sold in only two counties so I wouldn't be suprised it someone has more then one ticket.
