You raise some good points, but I'd guess that these kind of topics that could span more than one forum is not the blatant posting in the wrong forum that Rick is referring to.

I think those kinds of posts are left up the topic's author as to where they think it fits best.

IMHO, random number posts should probably be in Mathematics.

I was just nosing around the forums here trying to find an appropriate place to discuss the relationship between keno games and pick 3 and 4, involving matters not precisely metaphysical, but not mainstream science.

You are posting systems. That's where it should be, in the systems forum. You are not posting about dreams or geese in the systems forum. There is a fundamental difference. I agree with Todd, you're posting in the right place.

Thanks for alerting me that I was posting in the wrong section. I've tried to be cognizant of posting correctly. Being a conservationist at heart, it is true that on that particular thread, I am just testing so its a waste of 'tape'.

You have your hands full. You'd be overwhelmed by reports of abuse. It's up to members to take responsibility for where they place their threads.

In the last few days the lottery discussion forum has become an appendage of the pick 3 forum and the mystical forum.

Unfortunately I do not have even close to the amount of time to be able to regularly search for posts put in the wrong forum. If you (and others) come across posts like the ones you've mentioned that are in the wrong forum, please click the Report Abuse link at the bottom of the post and that will inform me of the problem. Every time some helps out by clicking Report on a bad post or one in the wrong forum, it helps me emmensely.

(BTW, I disagree on a couple of 'em, but that's OK... [ More ]
