Thanks for your answer. Besides that I completed a meteorology course in college (most of which I've forgotten by now) I was trying to be humorous. But I assume most people know that when the dew point and the air temp are equal we have 100% relative humidity, at least I think so. So I was thinking about all the people who have moved here and installed swimming pools, therefore adding increased moisture into the air. Then they sweat and add carbon dioxide which is a gas which can have an effect... [ More ]

To answer your question Can Relative Humidity be 120% ... No. It can't. Max RH is 100% The max Dew Point temp can't go above the air temp. If you did have a RH over 100% your Dew Point would be in the upper 90's to near 100. While your air temp would be in the upper 80's to lower 90's. I don't think discussing Global Warming is relevant on a lottery board. (I have my thoughts on the CYCLE and I don't not wish to express them here). justxploring I can go along with you on the fact th... [ More ]

I can feel the difference when the temp increases by 5 degrees. I think all those swimming pools have increased the humidity too! Can humidity be 120%? Sure felt like it today.

I think Global Warming has to be handled on a global level, although taking care of the environment is definitely very important. I usually would have listed that one too. Guess I've been jaded by all the concrete around me. Florida has lost so much of its wildlife. Everything is disappearing but the mosquitos and... [ More ]

Despite the Mega Millions group's statement that it will not allow more states into the game, it is hard to say which multi-state game Florida will eventually end up joining (if Florida's next governor knows what is good for Florida). Obviously, it will join Powerball if MM doesn't lift the moratorium; however, if MM keeps getting a lucky string of wins, the group may change its mind and ask Florida to join so it has another excuse to increase the matrix again.

Hi, Ed

First I want to say your home town of Navarre is beautiful and has the nicest sandy beaches. I vacationed in Gulf Shore, AL around 1990 and spent a day in Navarre. Really pretty. That was before Florida took paradise and put up a parking lot as Joni sings. I hope they haven't put highrises on the beaches of the Emerald Coast, but I'm guessing they have already.

I'm a registered voter in FL and, to be perfectly honest, a candidate's decision on the multi-state lottery never entere... [ More ]

No I do not, I e-mailed the Florida Lottery about which candidates support a multi-state lottery in Florida, and I never got a response. About two weeks ago, I e-mailed the candidates committees and I haven't recieved a response from them either. So I posted this poll and thread because I thought that you guys might know, so do any of you guys know about the Florida Guvernorial candidates postition on a multi-state lottery, if you do then please vote in this poll so that I will know who to sup... [ More ]

Do you know each of the candidates' positions on a multi-state game? I would think a Democrat would be more likely to approve, given that Jeb is an (R).

I don't think that Florida's lottery is a joke, since FL Lotto is one of the best jackpot games in the US, and soon (if not already) will have a 60% payout. NY Lotto and its 38%-40% prize return is the real embarrassment among US games.
