How is it that I can not vote? The poll says I voted but I did not. I have always be able to vote in the past on these polls.

Is there a limit as to how many votes it will tally?

Anyway, I voted no I would not stop playing. Mainly, because I think it is fun and gives one a sense of success when one picks correctly.

Playing the lottery is entertainment for me. If I do hit it big one day, there will probably be pause while I arrange for the money, find a place to hide out and get acquainted with new surroundings, possibly a new name. Then, I would start playing again and trying to hit it big in a new state, or maybe my current one.

I forgot to mention that the word game would be based in the Carribean (like Domincan Republic/jamaica) or all over latin America...The game will be like who wants to be a millionaire but words of the spanish language, perhaps maybe the English language too...the point of the game is to guess the definitions of spanish words from multiple choices and win money...Anyways that's what i would do if i was to hit the lotto big...

For example if i was to hit Mega millions i will quit playing but my interest for lottery configurations will not subside...Not only will i find ways to make the lotto better to my judgement but I will try and find ways to crack games that are beyond any game in existence today, games like Pick6, 1-120, or pick7 1-45, PIck8 1-80 or I will try and find a way to crack Italy's superenalotto and Keno (the demon who makes trophies of men), just to make it simpler for people and for the thrill of it..... If I won jackpot money (heck, if I won just ONE million), there is no question that I would stop playing. I guess I'm not a true gamer because for me, the whole point of playing is to win the big bucks.....

I would take myself out of the running and give other people the chance to win too.

Not entirely, but not as much. I would probably concentrate on Big 4 and cash 5 then for the better odds, as I would have more to spend using my systems just for the fun of it. Better yet that I would not need to depend on a win to change my life, and losing would not be as hard on the wallet.

I voted I'm not sure. If I hit a jackpot multi-million dollar pay-off I may or may not continue. I'll be so busy making changes and things happen in life that I may not have the time to play. But it would be a good choice to face.

Speaking for myself, I think being able to pick the winner is the most fun. I have a sneaking suspicion many others feel the same way. Do not get me wrong if I won a monster I would be extremely happy but I would still want to play some more to duplicate that winning feeling.

It appears I may not be alone in my assessment based on the current vote tallies.

I don't mind playing pinball games and stuff, but I'm more into games like Tomb Raider, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil, etc. Although I do love Super Mario Brothers. It's one of my favorite "old school" games.

Oh, good to hear. I was beginning to question my sanity. I like pinball games. I also like shooting blowing up things (as long as they're not real people and animals!) I'm not very good at video games, although my neighbor has a Playstation and it's a blast. I wonder if the 3 year old can comprehend that he's running over pedestrians. I probably will always play the lottery, but I'll look at it a little differently when I'm financially independent. I always want to win. It's like when you play a video game on your computer and get a high score..you go back and try to beat it, even though nobody is playing against you.

If I won the Mega Millions jack pot...I would absolutely stop playing.....I am playing for freedom right now.....I am playing for the right to sit by the most beautiful beach any day I wish.....and read a book....watch the waves roll in and pic a coconut from off the tree.

Mega Millions can make it all come tru....if they just get about selecting winning numbers from the Bethesda, Rockville area.

Congrats on that hit on the $2 ticket! I also would keep playing and would certainly have a couple of future draw quick-picks in my pocket when I turned in the ticket for validation on a larger win.

Despite the odds, I have read a number of stories over the past few years of people who have won a nice second prize as they kept playing the lottery; sometimes several years after the first win.

If I hit a really large prize I would stop playing once the year I won was over. Playing would become tax-deductible the actual year you win if you take cash. I might even take a trip to Vegas but wouldn't spend too much on gambling there. I also might have gone to Europe but with how bad airports are now I'd skip it.

I don't play to necessarily win the jackpots, I am happy with winning more than I paid for the ticket. So I would not stop playing if I won the jackpot. Would I play as much? That's another question that I guess I would answer later.

I play the lotteries because I enjoy the challenge of trying to pick the winning combination, that wouldn't change even if I won the top prize several times. It's more likely that I would try even harder the second time to prove it wasn't just luck the first time.

I would not quit gambling because of a big win. There will always be jackpots out their to win as long as you are living so why not try to go after them if you have the expendable income to do so. Come you are going to tell me that after you win a jackpot that you are going to sit there and say, Hey I am so rich I do not need to play for the next big jackpot .
