This is definitely a no brainer...LOL

If I knew what the night's winning number was for sure....I would withdraw every dollar from my bank account.

We're talking millions in winning tickets, but I'm sure there's a cap.

That's why some states have parimutuel payouts. They bypass that step.....No need to have caps.....

I voted more.

I was playing a slot machine in Cripple Creek CO about 15 years ago that paid on every 5th pull. This was about 2 weeks after gambling opened there.

I emptied the machine, they 'refilled' it, and it never hit again in the next 20 pulls, I walked away with a few thousand dollars.

Ya gotta know when to fold.......

It's just like PB - I am absolutely positively 99% convinced I can win a pick 5 if I had $360........ but there is the question of that 1%............ [ More ]

I think that question needs to be looked at on what the value of the bet can mean in a win or loss.

If $1.00 is a large bet to you then a 500.00 win in the pick 3 would be awesome to win.

Once you get to a certain point of money needed and money not needed the money not needed is nothing but figures to you.

I heard about that.

Lottery Queen, the story is on the Home Page of Lottery Post and has been for days!

Anyway, I'm not questioning the 100% randomness of the numbers, since I've had my suspicions, but not totally convinced one way or the other. But no matter how hard people work their systems, there is still a lot of risk IMHO. I guess I read the poll in a different light and there was a misunderstanding. I was simply saying if anyone actually knew for sure a number was going to hit, w... [ More ]

I'm not sure what you mean. The lottery is supposed to be random, so how would I actually know the number is going to hit? If there was no risk involved I'd be foolish not to bet everything I have on a number. Of course, then it would raise suspicion. Regarding the lady in MI, she had been playing that number for 34 years. If I played the same number for that long and suddenly had a very strong gut instinct, maybe I'd bet $100 if it wasn't too much of a burden. But the sure thing is different... [ More ]
