I use a progressive betting strategy...meaning you increase your bets as you lose. The mathematics of it will allow for a hit within a few draws, playing the same numbers. Any win that you get wipes out any losses that you have incurred up to that point.

I will be glad to put NY ON on here a little later today.

hi in On.........is probably same as in NY.........i tested only 30 days and only four draws came from last three draws.......so it becomes guessing games which days to choose ......no profit here.......

forgive my newbie-ness but by progression do you mean increasing the bet because the odds of (whatever system/numbers) hitting go up if it hasn't happened yet? Why would one need a table for this though? Is there some mathematical formula to apply?

If this is what you mean by progression, then I guess it would be possible to turn a profit with this technique. I think it would still be risky though, and one would need a bit of a bankroll to pull it off, it at all.

Thanks for doing all those back tests, but I'm not sure I'm following how you are turning a profit.

Here in NY it looks like roughly 50% of the time the winning numbers were from the last three draws. However there are stilll usually 7 numbers to choose from even when they are from the last three draws. That would mean approx. 350 combos. I get that as a $200 (at $1/bet) loss for each winner. (350 x 2 = $700 at $1 a bet minus $500 win = $200 loss).

I had time to do this...our flooring guys aren't here yet.

Anyway, I did it both ways, the way I was doing it, and how you suggested handling doubles. The funny thing is that the outcome was exactly the same.

The reason being is that when I took the mirror, the mirror was also in one of the other two draws, so that kind of nullified that approach. I looked back at my other tests, and it happened that way in every instance. Isn't that the damned-est thing?! :)

I sure will...I have to run out this morning while new floors are installed in the house we are selling. I will get a chance this evening to do that for you for sure.

Interesting take on the mirror. I have just used the amount of numbers regardless of singles, doubles, triples. I have a progression chart for 5-number wheels all the way up to 9-number wheels. I play only the singles and doubles of those wheels though. Very easy to use :)

I will let you know my results later on.

I take all of the numbers from the past three draws and wheel them. I use singles and doubles, but not the triples. I then play those until there is a hit. I use a progression as well, so that any losses are covered up with just one win.

Thanks for doing Texas cps10. Sorry to be dense but how exactly do you do this? I tried taking the last three night results and did ok until I hit a combo of three results that never gave a winner. If you don't get a winner in two or three games do you start using the last results? Do you get doubles from your wheel? thanks alx

Right, well, besides, the online stores don't allow that high of a wager either...so that would nip that in the bud too.

However, an 80% return a month, just to earn $2400 a month is a good deal as well.

The pick-3 strategy can be applied much the same way.

you could also create a progression that allows you to win even if you are playing at the convenience store with the lower payouts.

Well, that is an interesting twist I did on it. Basically I took the return of one state for one month (81+%) and applied it to an initial bankroll of $3,000. After the first month, your bankroll would be over $5,000. Then I applied the 81% to that...that would get you over $9000 after two months, etc.

I would imagine that no state would get that kind of return every month, so the figures that I presented were probably a bit far fetched, but you get the idea.

Anyway, a back test of the past 30 draws in SC EVENING PICK 4:

Produced a profit of $2,327 on a max drawdown of $2,862, or an ROI of 81.31%...

Not bad at all....

A $3,000 investment, compounded monthly would be:

$3,786,015.17 at the end of one year

I did an interesting test on this for SC EVENING for the past month...

What I did was took the past 3 drawings and used those numbers in a wheel, and excluded triples. I played those numbers until I got a hit. Then you would start over and use those past three draws, etc.

In the past month is SC for Pick 3, you would have won $834 against a progressive drawdown of $500. That's an astonishing 166.8% Return on Investment!

Will check Pick 4 shortly.

One of the problems I have is downloading his programs which require 17 steps to acheive, and they're in DOS I think. If he had a more user friendly way to download, maybe then he would have more notoriety in the usefulness category.

He's a piece of work, that's for sure! When I first started looking up lottery systems on the net, he's the first one I came across and tried to read some of his stuff. I figured with all that information there, he must know something! It was so complicated and confusing I just gave up. But who knows? Someone else might read it and get it right away.
