I get my random numbers from www.random.org

It's hosted from the University of Dublin and also has good explanations of randomness and non-random generators. They are also used by many other universities as a provider of random numbers for studies.

Pac-Blaine-Attack05

Here's another one. Ask your victim the following questions.

How much is 2+2? (when they answer, go to the next question)

How much is 4+4? ( Ditto)

How much is 8+8? (Ditto)

How much is 16+16?

When they say 34 as the answer to the last question, ask them to pick a number from 5 thru 12, and again, if it works, they should say the number 7. This one seems to work more often than the first trick.

Since I failed at trick #1 - I want to be sure I have trick #2... [ More ]

Here's a cool trick I learned from David Blaine. He's a street magician, for those who don't know. It won't work on everyone, however, when it does, It's a great feeling. Blaine did this to the viewing audience on TV. In other words, he told people who were watching the show to pick a number. Again, It won't work all the time. I think one reason it doesen't work on everyone is because they THINK TOO HARD....That's the key.

It definitely worked on me, and I jumped out of my chair. Try this on... [ More ]

Funny that I never thought of entering a number over 53! I only chose 6 anyway. When I was in first grade I won a prize by picking the number 6. Ever since that, 6 is always a number that comes to mind.

I think Todd should allow this - I don't see any type of commercial advertisement from this site.

The instructions are simple

Please pick a random number between 1 and 100:

http://www.arandomnumber.com/

Don't expect much. Once you enter your random number, next there is a small optional questionaire. He will send published results to anyone entering their email address. Just thought it was interesting and would be interesting to see what kind of results he gets.
