The MI Classic Lotto 47 jackpot for the Sept 2 draw at $7 million was not a record. The record jackpot was set on May 21, 2006 when it reached $7.3 million. The Sept 6 draw just tied the record.

The Sept 6 did set a new roll record at 29 rolls. The previous $7.3 million jackpot took 27 rolls to reach that amount.

It has been rolling on average $200,000 to $300,000 a drawing. When it first starts out at $1,000,000 it rolls at $100,000 until about 2.5 million. I still don't believe I have seen a roll bigger than $300,000. Maybe now that it is getting higher we will see something bigger.

well i hope i win. my ticket from my last trip through there is still good. hell i can't remember where i even bought the ticket. i think it was in northern michigan near travers city. i would personally take the 7million and live with it.

Is that 2 plays for $1? The MI website isn't very clear on game rules or how to play their games.

Well Michigan's Classic Lotto 47 has hit a new record. $7.0 million. This game hasn't been doing to well in this state. We have had the game for well over a year now and this is the highest it has been. This has to have been growing for at least 12 weeks now most likely more. It will be interesting to see if the jackpots grow more after we hit $10 million, that is if we do.
