To me Labor Day means the end of summer is near, thank goodness.

Good riddance to flys and mosquitoes and air that you wear and mildew and your clothes sticking to you and snakes in the road.That's right, snakes in the road.

Weshar, I like it when my dog hangs out of the bun as well..

Watched the last 3 or 4 holes of the Tiger invitational in between the umpteen thousand commercials.. He is just a MACHINE !!

Spent the better part of the day behind a mower getting the yard into shape..ok grass...you can stop growing any day now....please ?

Back to the old grind tomorrow, but at least it's a 4 day week !!!

I got up early for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. then I took a 2 hour nap. Watched Tiger win his fifth in a row then we had Patacones which is fried plantains and Hebrew Nationals. Why you say because Hebrew Nationals are the only hot dog that I like that will fit the bun and have a little hang outside of it. Then I did my best to support China by consuming a large TsingTao lager Beer. I decided to only have one because I didn't want to get drunk. All in all a lazy day. Thank you America because... Labor Day is the annual sabbath for workers. I'm not much of a worker but by gawd I celebrated the sabbath properly by doing nothing except elbow bends, wrist curls and head tilts.

took the dog for a walk..came home for cheese burgers and fries. a hot day here in the peg. all the hoodlums(school kids) are going back next week. no use trying to go to the corner restaurants for lunch..too long a line up. be careful when you walk by the bus stops after work, i notice many of the punks(school kids) don't wanna move out of your way. the glass in the bus shelters will be repaired more frequently now(school kids, you know). tomorrow, the spin doctor a.k.a the man who wrote t... Trying to fix my computer. Somehow my files became damaged or corrupt. (everytime I hear that term I think of manila folders cursing at me)

Good poll, but I couldn't really pick one answer. When I was in school it meant the beginning of a new school year. In my 21 year career in New England, Labor Day meant a long weekend and the end of summer. It was always very crowded at the beaches. What is Labor Day to you? If you are off, do you use Labor Day for rest, (chillin', relaxing, BBQ, doing absolutely nothing) or do you use Labor Day for labor, (fixing the car, cleaning the house, fixing around the house, gardening, lawn care, doing overtime at work).
