How about just switching back to ball machines and have the drawings in a public place, with right to inspect the machines and balls after the drawing

If the feds were the ones who assured us that games are legit, I doubt I'd buy another ticket.

The mess will merely be nationwide rather than select states.

True ...but look at the mess our lottery in North Carolina started with which now seems to reach all the way up to Jim Black,our Speaker of the house,and if the feds were involved I really think it would provide a certain number of safeguards that are not assured at the state level.

I'm totally against such a proposal. Last thing we need is another federal agency. Best way to protest such things is with your dollar. Don't spend it and tell them why. If they don't listen, they're fools. Of course, demanding the Indiana government take action against the responsible parties would be best course, but let's face it, that's not gonna happen.

your idea certainly sounds good.a national audit commission would be great.no telling what goes on in a few select places behind the scenes.how i would love to be a fly on the wall inside the indiana lottery headquarters....

Last year there was a state assemblyman from Kent County (DE) that wanted to force the DE Lottery by law to go back to ball drawings. This was based on the fact that his/her believe that the reason for declining sales is because people believe the state lottery is rigged. LOTTOMIKE, my vote is yes. Most RNG computerized draws make it manipulated and make more jackpot winners happen.

oregon has a pick 4 four times a day i like playing.i even hit it straight for a couple thousand earlier this year.it is computerized but i think its one of the few that are not rigged.....

Unlike televised ball drawings which would need the help of several people, computer drawings only need one person. That is the big problem is that you never really know if it's honest or not. Considering the small savings I don't think any lottery should make the switch. It will only take one scandal before all computer dawn games come into question by the public at large.

You never know. That's the horrible thing about computerized drawings, there's no transparency. They probably are running legitimate games, but the possibility if them being crooked is always there.
