The simple fact with Garron Products (The shamrock in particular) is that it has too quick of a draw cycle. It even states on their website that the shamrock has one of the quickest draw cycles of any machine on the market. I just don't like this quick draw feature - it gives the impression that the lottery just wants the draw done and over with.

I like to see balls bouncing all over the place, and I just don't think Garron gets the job done with the Shamrock. The Titan, Ovoid and Titan Ge... [ More ]

NoCompLotto whether you like Garron products or not they are widely used. The equipment has evolved through the years. From a square Plexiglas box with fans underneath blowing the balls around to state of the art thermoformed fixtures with paddles and backup systems. i agree that the balls do get sucked to the outlet hole pretty fast. But in no way do i see that as being a fault of the equipment. Once the balls are dropped into the fixture they are tossed and turned and whichever ball makes it t... [ More ]

Just be glad it's a ball drawing and you can watch the recorded draw. Who knows how numbers are drawn in WA state. I have played a lot less since they have switched to RNG drawings though.

I remember watching a drawinf on WGN when they first got these machines.

I've seen Pick 3 and Pick 4 jam (a ball never came up) and WGN put on the Illinois Lotery Technical Difficulties sign, but this was for Liile Lotto or Lotto and the door or whatever device that lets the balls fall was jammed shut, it never opened.

OK...

It's been a while since I've been here (busy with everything), but I finally managed to sit down at my puter and watch some TV. Yes, my puter. I stumbled along the Chicago Tribune's site and just happened to see a link on Illinois lottery draw videos. Since I haven't watched one of those in a while, I decided to watch one.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CRITERIONS?????????

They got rid of them and have replaced them with what look like the Texas Machines. Garron Lottery Products? Come on,... [ More ]
