Both were sold in NYC, but the jackpot ticket (better hope they chose cash since NY still requires the choice when you play) came from Da Bronx, while the second prize winner was purchased in Brooklyn.

well we don't know if the person who won bought tickets in advance or not. Played his/her own numbers or bought a qpick. A lot of times when the draw is high i buy my quick pick tickets for consecutive draws. figuring i might possibly get a good/better selection of numbers since the high jackpots generate/sell more q picks than small pots.

The average jackpot in the last half year has been really low hey. I wonder when are we going to see another $200+ jackpot. I sure am waiting for one!
