If you're trying to come with system for MegaMillions or PowerBall, you're limited to less than 150 drawings because of the last matrix changes however some of the state games have run years without any changes.

I'd say there is no rule of thumb, the daily games just have more backdata available.

It is up to you to decide how much of it you need.

It also depends on if you are trying to find a repeatable system for hitting regularly (p3/p4/p5) or if you are just looking to make the one big score (p6/p5+1).

If you're a system writer, you need a big subset of data so that you avoid the curvefitting problem. If you are a quick-picker-throw-darts-at-a-sheet-of-numbers guy, you need ........luck... [ More ]

Here's my theory on this each machine has 10 balls.

each number has to rotate from 0 thru 9 at some point ten draws equals 10 numbers which by all accounts each digit will rotate at some point. in each position.

567

678

789

890

901

012

in the real world numbers don't fall like this every day but they do have to cycle thru. So by checking your last 10 draw you can see which digits are hot cold and lukewarm Check powertrails out for a... [ More ]

I would like to thank all those who provided feedback to my question.

cps10, four4me, JADELottery, RJOH, guesser, oneiwilly and Amazing Grace, thanks for the feedback. It appears that a person has to find his or her own system of play because what works for one may not work for another and as many have stated luck does play a part.

I find doing this is good therapy for me and I may just stumble upon something that works for me. I will continue to try different methods until I find one I

There are 3 ways to win

Read the post from people that study tha stats and play thier numbers.

Use the search tool to your advantage

Dumb luck.

Since i started using the search tool to the fullest i average 2 hits per day on a 20$ bet.

ie search for all series 012 123 234 345 456 567 678 789 890 901 then use the process of elimination on States hit you will then find whats states are due i usually run 4 or 5 states at a time as one hits i replace with another,

well i also live in fl and i use the last 7 draws i can usually hit 3 times out of 7 days but only if no doubles or tripples are drawn i usually play 35 numbers at 50cents box=$17.50 win =$40.00

I am still new at this but I had a question concerning draw size for analysis.

Is there any rule of thumb as to how many draws should be analyzed for the next draw?

Speaking for Florida only --- as an example Cash3, Play4 and Fantasy5 are daily games and MegaMoney and Florida Lotto are picked twice a week ---- should I use more past draws for the analysis of the daily games as I do for the others?

I would appreciate any feedback anyone can provide.
