Ok, let me see if you can help me in mi idea:

I have the following set of numbers (ALWAYS match 2-out-of-3 numbers in FL, in any order- except for doubles):

039 - 059 - 069 - 124 - 178 - 278 - 356 - 478

So, the big question is:

What kind of combination should I do to bet and win?...I know 2-out-of-3 ALWAYS match, so, maybe a maths expert can help here.

Not a dumb question at all, and you are very right indeed! Actually, In Maryland state (not the District, as the area has three seperate Lottos--MD, DC and VA) you can play pairs.

So say you want to play 456, you can play the whole number and you can also put, like $.50/$1.00 on either 45 or 56 , banking that it will come in that pair. You can win a $50 max with the dollar play. Go to their website. There should be talk of it there.

In Florida you can play Pick-3 front or back pairs, Pick-4 front, middle or back pairs, you must have the exact order correct. Fantasy 5 gives a free QP for a 2# win. BobP

New Mexico has 4 This Way, which has a prize for matching two. (Although not a Pick 3 game.) Puerto Rico has a Pick 2 game.

No state exists where 2 out of 3 in any order wins. The closest to that is in Nebraska with their Combo play, and even then it has to be in the order drawn.

Sorry for this newbie question, but anyone in my city can respond me.

I know there are states that pay if you match 2 out of 3 numbers in any order.

I need to know PLEASE, which states are these, because I want to play a combo numbers set that in FL applies PERFECTLY, but people here (FL) tell me that 2 numbers does not pay prize.

Let me know in which states applies this 2-out-of-3 any order rule, to play through betslips.com :-)
