Another clerk story...

Stopped at a covneience mart today and played:

Mega Millions $1.00

Little Lotto $1.00

Pick 3 $.50 Straight

Pick 3 $.50 Straight

So the clerk says $4.00.

I said , No, $3.00 - 1 + 1 + .50 +.50.

The clerk says Lottery tickets are a dollar. I show her the tickets, she looks at them and the playslips, and says, $4.00 .

I finally convince her of the higher math involved here, and she says, Well I don't play lottery.
