No exactly sure TC - but honestly w/ the FL Lotto it seems to be more winners picking their own #'s. Every ticket has a shot no matter if their QP's or own #'s - I just trust myself a little more than the computer to pick my #'s...

Lately I've been making a lot of typos, not spelling errors..just missing words, using wrong words, or not writing what I mean to say. My brain must be jumbled or running behind my fingers. Every time I read a thread about QPs I remember the press release in FL when I man won a big jackpot. He said something like I've been playing the same numbers for 15 years. I had a couple of extra dollars in my pocket, so I decided to buy 2 quick picks. He won with the QP. This isn't the first time I've read such an article. I agree CT - I even do that some times if am at a loss - I will pick the 1st, 2nd and the last # and will QP the other 3 - even though that doesnt help a majority of the time.

I also agree with the other post - more chance of getting killed in an accident before winning the lottery. Well all that should do is give us hope - b/c there still is a chance.

Yeah, but even after a spell like that, very often when it does get hit, that hit is a quick pick!

I think my wife might be on to something, she says the 'Lottery Fairy' is either smilng at you or not.

I think lots of people are forgetting one important fact:

The Jackpot is not hit every night.

Sometimes it goes weeks or months without getting hit, therefore a QP is no better than a 'system', in that respect.

The ONLY thing I hope to accomplish by picking numbers myself is to simply avoid certain scenarios: I don't want certain numbers that mimick the prior few games, I don't want a ticket where 3 of the numbers are decided 'longshots', I don't want a ticket with n... [ More ]

Nothing wrong with your word.... you're not saying, I cracked the code on the Pick 6 and have been hitting....yada yada.

I'm pretty sure you're also not playing 20,000,000 combinations and hitting one for $3,000,000 and telling us, I won! I won!

Oddly, most of my misses like the one you show above have been via QP's- I've even thought of playing a qP as a base and then dancing around those number with a + 1 and -2 or something.

I've hit $1 and $10 on Little Lotto (Pick 5), and on rare occassion $3 on Lotto (Pick 6), both QP and selected numbers, but couldn't tell you the last time we've had even just the PB number or MM number, let alone any other payoffs from either of those games.

Statistically more winners are quick-picks because more tickets sold are quick-picks. I believe both are around 70%.

Oh, I'm not saying there's not patterns, there definitely are....in fct, to carry that further it would probably help to focu on one state, one game, and stick to studying it....

In Illinois Little Lotto it seems 32 and 35 run together, for example.

What we're all looking fopr here is identifying something strong enough to concern the lottery, but not to the point they change that game or make it unavailable.

I am also not concerned with what the lottery thinks. I am not saying the lotto sets it up to where there setting up patterns - but if you look you will se a pattern. If the 1st,2nd or last # has been an odd # and in the same decade for the last 8 draws - are you going to play the same - an odd and in the same decade? I am not new to the lotto and through time - take my word for it - you will see the patterns and follow them.

FL Lotto 10-18 (Not done studying) but now am predicting:

1st#: 1,3,5,7

2nd# 11,13,15,17 (feeling 10 also)

last# 51,53 (Feeling 50 also)

IMO there will be a pair and repeat # (5,14 or 42)

Heres 2 quick lines for you on the top of my head:

1-10-25-26-42-45

3-17-22-33-34-50

and I know that 70% of QP's win - but not with me. I have more luck picking my#'s than I do QP's. If I am at a lost for the other 3 #'s then I will QP those. I have never had a QP come so close as t... [ More ]

Not to doubt you but posts like that are a lot more impressive of they go up before the drawing.

The lotteries don't care how many times we hit three numbers.

They're also not too concerned that we can predict even in the 20's, odd in the thirties until someone starts narrowing that down to the specific number.

Statisitcally, Quick Picks win more often. Subscribe to the winners results e-,mail of any given 5 or 6 number lottery in any state and track it for awhile.... [ More ]

I think it all depends...do you trust your instinct or that the green computer at the end of the store counter is going to be the ONE to select your #'s. I do not use a system but do select my own #'s. For instance last Sat Fl Lotto winning #'s: 5-9-14-21-22-42

my own #'s: 5-10-14-21-33-50

Wed 10 - 11 winning #'s: 12-15-24-30-40-48

my own #'s: 12-16-23-25-30-48

I'm seeing more and more posts of systems to predict powerball winning numbers ... in my researh I see more winners by QP and guesses than by using systems.

For instance my gal and I have won money 5 times by QP and none by choice!
