Use =ABS(0-1) give you positive value of 1 instead of -1. Take a look at the help for ABS function.

Then you will understand what ABS means.

If I want to subtract 1 from 0, I can't do it successfully. I am not talking about lottery math, just straight math. The reason is if I index the formula with the choose argument it will not do the math because it does not recognize anything less than 1.

The other question is, has anyone been successful at using a spreadsheet formula to perform lottery math?
