No, not that one...I usually work them out paper and pencil day by day and see if anything looks like it has potential.

On this one it's kind of like sudoku meets pick three and turns mystical and spills over into pick 4, granted, but....

apply the 'lottery sudoku rules':

0,1 2, 4, 7 and 9 are showing, therefore

3, 5, 6, and 8 are not.

So in a case where five numbers have shown (in the last three draws) and four haven't, play those four, in this case, 3568, as a Pick 4

Sudoku is based on Digits 1-9, so you take the 9 combinations with 5 in them and replace the

5 with its mirror.

Example: 415 = 410

If she uses a Computer you might want to download one of the Freeware Sudoku Games for her. If she doesn't use a Computer, when she finishes the book you can go to one of the websites that publishes a Sudoku Game on Daily Basis and print out additional Sudoku Puzzles for her to Solve.

PS: Thanks for the Congrats Coin Toss: The combinations were selected with the Sudoku Lottery System.

It is extremely addictive. My wife started out with a mini- Sudoku for Dummies book and got hooked.

When she works crosswaords she carries on conversations at the same time - not with Sudoku. Takes a lot of concentration.

(Unknown to her, I bought her the book thinking that if you see the same 3-digit number repeated in any given puzzle, that might be a good pick 3 for that day).

Funny, I just saw one of these at WAL-Mart yesterday.

I don't know the mathematical formulas for stuff like how many 3 digit combinations you can make out of 6 or 7 numbers, I do this stuff 'longhand' so to speak.

Playing with this I think you could od it like this, too....

everything in the OP so far, with sudoku grids / rules....

and tonight was 102, the previous two nights were 907 and 808.

So we have 0, 1, 2, 7 and 8

We don't have 3, 4, 5, 6.

Since we're looking for one... [ More ]

I've something like that before Coin Toss.

Instead I looked for a number that went from top left ,to bottom right ( say the draw was 587) and used the results from the sudoku box with those numbers

587 goes from left to right so I thought maybe some good picks would be

561 489 327 534 682 197 and 183. Didnt work too well here in VA.

Since I've been tracking several pick 3 selection methods for over 100 days and the results are, well, not so hot, to be polite, let's try something.

For those of you familiar with the game sudoku you know that it's a logic drill that just happens to use numbers (and no, I'm not trying to apply logic to lotto).

The format is a 3 X 3 grid inside a much larger 3 X 3 grid but we'll just be concerned with using one grid. The idea of the game is a number can't be repeated once used.
