How can we have a website discuss playable strategies for winning a 5/39 game when INCREASING the number field will DEFEAT those very strategies

It can be argued that Pennsylvania Cash 5 should add a few numbers since Jersey Cash 5 currently has one more number (40) and that New Jersey has a smaller population.

However, Pennsylvania should go back to offering a classic lotto (annuity jackpot with cash option) game. I would LOVE to see Pennsylvania join Hot Lotto, with HL changing its double matrix. Well my plan for dealing with it is not to spend my money playing the game. I never play cash 5, or very rarely unless the jackpot is over a million. I have no intentions of my first jackpot win being $100,000 and splitting it 3 ways. Now $100 million is a different story.

If you think a prize under 1 million shouldn't be split among multiple winners, what's your plan for dealing with multiple winners? Let them fight to the death, perhaps? Let them think they've won and then enter them in another lottery to elminate all but one winner?

Aren't lotto games SUPPOSED to be won???

Smaller number field games are winnable-- hello! Moreover, they encourage people to play, and they give them hope. In addition, they are much more fun (unless a player prefers scratchoffs).

I think it was designed as a rolling jackpot game that can be easily won. That's the thing. It pays a really nice prize, while being won easily as well.

No, there is enough games already with bad matrix's. It is won a lot which means there is a better chance you will win too. The only thing I do not like as I said before is that I do not believe anything under a million dollars should be divided up among multiple winners. To beat the such high odds and to have to share it among 3 people or more is crap. The jackpot is almost never that high. Awhile back it got up into the millions, but that is rare.

PA's Cash 5 is a pretty decent game. The jackpots usually don't get to high...the average I believe it gets won every other day. Mostly it goes at $100,000 or $200,000. I believe if it fine the way it is.

Now Florida's Fantasy 5 game I believe needs to change. That state must sell lots of tickets for their pick 5 game. I mean the jackpot gets hit almost everyday and it usually goes for about $200,000. That means they sell more than 600,000 tickets a night for that game with odds of 1 in... [ More ]
