If tonight's Mega Millions ($16m) is won, HL will climb to second place among US lottery jackpots. This would give MUSL games the two top spots.

Just think-if GA had stayed with Powerball, you might now have Hot Lotto instead of LOSE for Life. Better hope that Tennessee and/or South Carolina join HL instead of LfL. I would not expect Florida to drop Lotto for HL if it eventually joins PB.

KY, which is still a MUSL member, should have jumped onto HL when Lotto South became a lame duck.

New Mexico could not have joined HL at a better time. The jackpot is now $13.5 million; needless to say another record high. Are other states looking to join, and, probably more importantly, is there a matrix change on the horizon to make even bigger HL jackpots possible
