It doesn't sound like anyone contacted the Illinois Lottery. Only people who saw the error can have credibility on this, so maybe one of the people above who saw it can give us an update.

Sounds like a solid case to me. To many eye wittinesses to say otherwise. If nothing else, it sounds like they owe money to people who played 6851 as well, if not 685(0-9) and a really really good explanation. I would check the newspapers for an explanation. If not found, I would be contacting some officials. If nothing develops from that, I'd get a lawyer, especially if I had a ticket that started with 685. They'll want no part of that...

hi....my name is joe....a new here at LP but have been browsing this wonderful website for quite awhile...i just wana comment on ur topic about the Ill. p4 midday drawing yesterday...i too had witnessed the 1st,2nd,and 3rd no. that came out already before they were cut off...6-8-5 were the 3 nos. that came out...then 6-8-8-1 was the one they posted on the late news....smells something fishy

You mentioned that the Pick 4 drawing that you saw started with the numbers 6-8-5? If you firmly stand behind what you saw, you really should contact the Illinois Lottery about it. If they drew some numbers, and then stopped and drew new numbers, then both sets of numbers should be valid.

Please let us know what you intend to do, and if you contact the Illinois Lottery about it, please let us know what they say.

They must have re-drew the P4 or at least the last 2 digits. 6881 is what they have posted here and IL home page.
