Yes!!

You can just enter your states Pick 3 in the P3Drawings.xls file.

Scroll over to the Tab for your state. Click the Add New Drawing Toolbar. Enter your drawing on line E20. The most current drawing will ALWAYS be in cell E20.

So for example: If your state is North Carolina just scroll over until you find the Tab NC3E.

Open the Workouts.xls file and click the P3Toolbars Tab then click the Toolbar NC Evening.

The purpose of entering either the pick 3 and/or pick 4 is to see where if the number won first of all (Straight/Box) and what matrix (A-B-C) it hit and what day(s) it hit (7, 10, etc)

For example:

To check where winning numbers occur. DO NOT update last night's drawing. (Sunday Nov 19)

So open the P3Drawings.xls Excel file and click your Tab MA3F (Mass. Front 3)

On line 20 you should see Saturday's )11/18 drawning as 248

DO NOT UPDATE!!!

win question; On the workout page after i enter the winning pic3 and4 are you saying in order to look for the next winning number toplay both files have to be open. Why what affect does the pic3 drawing have on what to choose to play? Also what do you look for as playable numbers for the next day. A caveman wants to know. lol

to win; disregard last question.finally got it on one folder. working fine now. hope for results. you asked for any suggestions. here is one when we click on totals would it be possible for the entered winning number to be highlighte as a combo in the columns under all the days such as 7-10-14-21-etc. also the 4 numbers too. just a thought.

That is strange that NC does not work but the other states do.

1. Open the Excel file workouts.xls

2. Tool>Macro>Macros>

3. Scroll down the list of Macros until you see the Macro CopyNCEvening

4. Highlight it

5. Select Edit

Should see this:

Windows( P3Drawings.xls ).Activate

Sheets( NC3E ).Select

Even when I download the new file, I'm still getting this error message for North Carolina:Run time error 9, Script out of range... Debug

I'm using Microsoft Office 97 Excel program. Could this be the problem? Most of the other states open up fine.

Forever and All,

These are the links to download the 2 Excel files and 1 Word file (instructions).

I updated the drawing files from Thursday Midday and Evening 11/16/06.

1. If your downloading these for the 1st time

- Create a new folder (any name your little heart desires)

- download the 3 files into this new folder

- don't change the names of the Excel files

P3Drawings.xls

and

Workouts.xls

2. Need to have both files open to work.

i went to lotto logix and when i downloaded the power trails files there was no p3drawings.xls file so i'm unable to update the drawings and am still that caveman who hasn't grasped the way to use it....can you help me so i can get that file...thanks for your help

If you just want to test your own state or limited number of states you don't need to update every state.

Just go to the Tab that has your state.

For example:

Massachusettes Pick 4

Since Mass 4 uses the Pick 4 to play the Pick 3.

Go to the Tab labeled MA3F (Massachusettes Pick 3 Front)

1. Click the Toolbar in cell A1 Click to Add New Drawing

2. Enter your the Pick 3 numeber in Cell E20

If you make a mistake you can Click the Toolbar in Cell G1... [ More ]

That's an excellent Point.

The excel file names can NOT be changed.

The file names should ALWAYS be:

P3Drawings.xls

and

Workouts.xls

If they are anything but the above the Macros will NOT work.

I will update the P3Drawings.xls file every morning with the preious days draws. This will save time for those who don't want to update this file.

You can create your own list of digits and enter them in

Workouts.xls>PowerTrailsCustom(Tab)>Cell Range R1 through R10.

FYI - For anyone who is having problems with errors, you have to make sure that the file name has not been changed in any way when you download it. I believe that the macros are looking for specific file names when they are working. If you downloaded updated files, your computer may have changed the file name when it downloaded the updated file if the original download was still in the directory. I know that Firefox automatically increments the file name by 1 if a file by the same name exists in... [ More ]

I'm doing a little testing for NC Pick 3. I try to click on the NC in the Workout.XLS and it gives me an error message: Run time error 9, Script out of range... Debug

I am running EXCEL 2002 on an XP PRO platform and it seems fine.

One more cudos to WSLS for updating to include 4forme add ons.

Thanks for all your hard work. I am really impressed with your EXCEL intellect.

I beleive you have to follow your instructs to the letter so the macros will run.

You know if you have a anti-virus program and get the prompt about stopping the macros when you open the file and decide to turn them off, obviously they will not run when you need them.

Has anyone tried to update today's midday results (Wed 11/15) to the Excel P3Drawings.xls file yet??

Another member said that the Toolbar (macros) did not work correctly.

I tested it on Excel 2002 and Excel 2000 and worked fine.

Can someone let me know.

I will upload new Workout.xls file tomorrow morning.

I added Four4Me's Matrix suggestions.

Add this to the instructions:

In the Excel file Workouts.xls if you click the tab labeled Totals .

You can enter the next Pick 3 winning drawing in Cell C1 and the next Pick 4 winning drawing in cell E1.

In cell C2 this number will tell you how many times a Pick 3 Straight combination HIT

In Cell E2 this number will tell you how many times a Pick 4 Straight combination HIT

Any hits (combinations) will be highlighted in Orange in cell range C8 through U71

I should have recommended:

1. Create a new folder and give it any name you like. example: P3Powertrails

2. Unzip all 3 files into this new folder

3. Total of 3 files - 2 files are Excel files and 1 is a Word doc. with instructions

You will not need to update yesterday's (Tuesday 11/14/06) Pick 3 drawings

4. Remeber to have both of the Excel files open when using the program.

A good idea might be to create a 2nd folder as a backup or use it to back-test drawings to see wher... [ More ]

i've gotten wins using my own selections modified from the system using 10 draws for the history. pick 3 plays i have used.

ABC got me many straights

BCD some straights lots of boxes

CDE both straight and box wins

ABJ ditto

ABG ditto

ACJ ditto

I wrote this system for Lotto World Magazine a very long time ago and some people have luck with it though Florida seems to resist almost everything hence the other place. The advantage is a small number of plays, though it is hard not to play ABC and DEF.

No problem with an excell version provided it's free to all.

I have Powertrails in an Excel program.

Before I give it away I wanted to ask BobP first. If Bob gives the OK I will provide links to download Excel files.

The Excel program consists of 2 files.

File 1 - All the states Pick 3 drawings (about 100 - 200 previous draws)

File 2 - Powertrails Workouts

Hot - Cold

7 day - 10 day - 12 day - 14 day - 15 day - 21 day - 30 day - 45 day - 60 day Workouts.

I'll wait for BobP's approval first.
