Truly a humbling story. This man has captured the *spirit* of giving. One truly cannot ever appreciate this story unless they have been on the end of hardship and know that the *GESTURE* was validation that things would get easier or their was *hope*. I've been there and I can sincerely say that to receive an offer of monetary goods without any strings attached is respecting of the hardship itself. May his health improve in the same speedy manner that his money brought help to the needy.

absolutely. Not only did he hand out money on the streets every December, but he was a contributer to other charities.

I just saw the story on our local news and googled Larry Stewart. What a moving story. God Bless him. He and his family will be in my Prayers.

With the treatments and travel for the treatments costing so much, he now worries that Insurance won't cover the cost and that it will leave his family in great debt.

I hope that all of his celebrity friends would come forward and do a fundraiser in his name to off set medical cost.

And the guy has not had an easy life. Worked himself up from poverty to founding a telecommunications company. Really a heartwarming success story. Bless him
