Showing someone punching a button does NOT show the drawing, and that's the point. It is IMPOSSIBLE to know what is happening in that computer that is causing those numbers to be drawn.

Computers can be programmed to do anything. For exmaple, you can easily program a computer so that when the operator presses an 8 key, it really outputs a 7 . As far as rigging a drawing, a computer could be programmed to generate a specific set of numbers (or to avoid a certain set of numbers) and then... [ More ]

Well you could show the computer desktop on a projection screen and someone's fingers pushing a key to cause an RNG to produce a winning number. However, you would not know where the feed was coming from or if it had been rigged to start with. Computer drawings send a negative message to me anyway. Lottery is really not about technology to start with and should be presented in such a way as to entertain the customer. What a boring drawing those are, no excitement at all. You could have more... [ More ]

The only two states I can think of that might have non-televised ball drawings are New York and Florida (I remember hearing that somewhere). I know that the Florida Lotto game is televised, but something about the other games not being. Same with New York for the games other than the Lotto. The next time I am visiting PA, I will have to break out the rabbit ears and see if I can pick up the signal from a New York state TV station during drawing time.

The most effectictive thing to do would be to get every player to not play a state's computerized loitery, but that will never happen.

Let the lottery revenue go down to nothing and see how quick they'd revert to a live drawing.

I totally agree. That's one of the big strikes against computerized drawings. It is impossible to show an actual computerized drawing take place, which is one of the reasons outlined in the Petition showing why computerized drawings are so bad.

I would be interested to know what ball-drawn games do not give you the opportunity to watch the drawings, either on TV or online. I would think that those games should be given a failing grade as well because there is no evidence that the drawings are actually done. Any thoughts on this? Anyone know of any games not televised (TV or net
