As much as I would like the chance to receive my 15 minutes of fame, I just could not do it for security reasons. It would be bad enough that the Florida Lottery Commission would be aware of the win and it would be given to newspapers and other media outlets. Also it would would not be too bad if the amount of the win was less than normal. I think where the name recognition comes into play is when you win a very large amount of money. I thought this was recently a topic posted on LP. I said that I probably would never announce it only because I've posted way too many personal thoughts on forums and blogs and suddenly my anonymity would be blown by a nosy reporter who found out that justxploring won the jackpot. It's likely LP members would know I had won before I knew since I play all my predictions for the games in Ohio, however I wouldn't give out my e-mail address. Before I removed my e-mail address from my profile, I used to get requests for money from all kind of people with sob stories, I think they thought any one who could afford to lose money playing the lottery should help them first. Certainly I would announce it! Why not.? This is after I give Todd proof and ask for complete blocking of PM's and change my name . Seriously. most members here WANT to feel apart of such a celebration . We each have the option to block messages or postings of members who may be less then appreciative of such a win. I dont fear the online folks as much as I do the media and charity thumpers.

Naturally its realistic and understanding if someone does want to stay private.
