That is sad indeed, but I think it's best to focus thoughts on the lives that were lost that day. It's not anti-war day, it's Pearl Harbor Day. It's the day the United States was attacked without provocation, and was drawn into World War II, which the United States had previously stayed out of.

My grandfather was at Pearl Harbor when it happened but was one of the lucky ones to survive. May God Bless those who didn't and their families.

Thank you for posting this reminder. It is very sad that the Pearl Harbor attack, the most significant attack on our soil in this nation's history until 9/11, has been pushed under the carpet by many.

Good mornign eveyone. As you all may know or not know, today marks the 65 year anniversary of the attack on PEARL HARBOR. 1,300 lives were lost that day. The first attack was at appromitely 7:53 am the second was at 8:55 am at 9:55 it was all over. This was a tragic day for all that was aboard those ships.
