Okay I did not even realize that had happened!! That's so not cool. I know with NY if you get 4 out of 5 numbers you can get at a decent prize. But I think part of the issue is people usually hold out and play Mega Millions, and they figured folks would not notice. They were right, because i sure did not, and still play the game.

The way to get the Lottery Commisions attention is to not play that pick-5 game. Once you hit them with the lack of sales , they will make a change. I'd also call or e-mail them and voice an oppinion on what they have done. Enough people complain things get changed.

You are absolutely correct, unfortunately there are just too many people who will play regardless.

There have actually been discusions here about how large would a matrix be before you stopped playing and people have said, That will never happen. And if the lotteries have people reading this board, which a lot of us think to be the case, such reactions are not helping we, the players, one bit.

Changing the payout structure gets the same reaction, too.

Back on Oct. 29th, they changed the payouts, secretly, to put more back in the jackpot, unfortunately. Now matching 4 averages $200 (down from $400) , and matching 3 averages $9 (down from $20). Shame on you Georgia, you had a good thing going and ruined it.
