While I would love a large jackpot to try my luck on I'm always a pessimist on jackpots getting large especially with Mega. Since 2004 Mega has gotten to the current level or close seven times. It rolled to the next level three times and only broke the third roll once to 315.

If it can roll on the 27th ,which I doubt, then I really think this run can break 300 or higher.

I'm pretty optimistic myself. At some point the $400,000,000 threshold will be crashed. Why not this year? I have no problem being the voice in the wilderness.

On the other hand, it is entirely possible that it will be won on the next drawing.

Even starting from this jackpot level, a $400M jackpot remains improbable. It certainly is possible, but it is still improbable.

Mega Millions is on a good roll, and I still believe it will be the first to $300,000,000 this year. Preferably this roll. I believe also, it will be the first ever to reach the seemingly insurmountable $400,000,000 Jackpot

I think that Powerball will pass $300 Million during the first half of 2007 and likely set a record level this year.

The time is long overdue to pass out some 5of5 PB Bonus Prize money ... once again.

No fair.. Powerball has a **HUGE** head start! If nobody wins tonight or Weds. it will probably cross 300M but Mega has quite a long way to go and all those darn states they added makes it tough to get to that level.

Predict..Neither will get past 125 mill until late in the fall of 2007. My prediction is both major drawings will hit consecutively in the next two drawings...My hope is it will be east coast winners
