If he keeps he's word in that letter it should be by Jan 31 2007.

So worst case should be end of Feb.

Yes i also remember distinctly that keno would be supported - wish it's still the case in 1.8.

He should be releasing 1.8 real soon based on the email I received from him after I contacted him back in December. As long as he sticks to his plan we should be getting 1.8 between now and some time in February. I don't think he's going to make his time table before February but it would be nice if he did. I do not know if it will still support KENO though. I do hope it does. Guru did mention way back 2.5 years ago that 1.8 will support KENO and many other types of lotto draws.

ya he don't want any part of open source. That's he's decision. Let's hope for a release within a month or so then.

i'm thinking the same as you Raziel.

I figure he has finished the core of 1.8 and is just touching it up here and there. Else why would the man announce it's imminent release
