To validate a scratch ticket, the clerk needs to also enter a 4 digit code that appears under the latex.<br /><br />Now I am also familiar with the current scandal in Ontario and by no means am I trying to defend the Ontario Lottery   Gaming Corporation or store clerks. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>scratch tickets have to be activated by scanning before putting into displayed case..<br /><br />To check a ticket to see if it is a winner, one has to scan code on back and punch in number from front.  However, the number on front has to be scratched off before viewing. There forth... never buy a scratch off where the code on front was scratched off..</p>]]></description>
