Hey. Larry! Welcome to the board! I think you would have to call the Lottery Commission and ask them when they change the balls. Does it make a difference? Someone posted from Canada about this recently about the weight of the balls, the cost for them, etc. It was a really interesting piece. Not sure who/when it was posted, but you might want to do a search in the forums for it.

Florida Lotto has traditional lottery ball drawings. See State Lottery Report Card in the Results menu for a list of every game and its drawing type. I don't know the answer to your other question.

I'm new to the board, could not find the topic, Does anyone know on the Florida Pick 6 when the balls are changed(or did they go electronic?) is there a set rule, 6 months?
