I think they threw a bunch of million dollar winners out there early in the game to stimulate sales ( and it worked...)but it seems to have cooled down.

I did not buy them, but I have seen this and it is a fact :

I saw 8 $20 tickets in a row without as much as a free ticket.

I think I would buy a ticket given the odds 1:3. Could be a lot better considering a $10 Jumbo Jumbo Bucks ticket is 1:2.5. However, I can't argue with the payouts. Given the fact that I'm a broke college student, I dont see myself playing this game anytime soon.

well i've won $65 so far from the first 2 that I bought. Then I bought 3 more and they were all loosers.

I think I'm gonna ease up on buying those. When I lived in Texas I wasn't too excited about loosing on $20 and $30 tkts. So I know I won't be buying those too often.

Its a great game for georgia though. Its about time they had a $20 scratcher

Gongrats on getting that 100 bucks dair emily!!!!

I just think its crappy how if ya win 50 on those tickets it aint really fifty profit because the darn thing cost 20 to begin with .. It feel way better to by $1 Bingo and win 10 bucks because at least with the one dollar tickets ya get 90% profit back. I have scratch 3 or 4 20$ tickets and never got even a free ticket LOL!!!!! I do think there is some huge winner's in them its just I havn't had the luck for now..

Interesting little story on a $20 GA ticket.....

As us GA players know, the losing tickets should not be trashed. We can sign them, send them in and there will be weekly drawings for $5000 .

The weekly winners are eligible to be in the grand prize drawing for $10 Million .

Having said that, I was at the store scratching a couple of tickets recently and couldn't help but notice several of the $20 tickets right on top in the trash.

I pulled them out and stuck them in my pocket.

GA has done the right thing by throwing at least 3 Million dollar winners out there within the first week of sales..

Update :

Spent $80.00 yesterday on them and hit for $100.00 on one and $20.00 on another .

Small profit, but at least it wasn't a loss..

PS : The $100.00 was the last ticket on the roll......

I'm not too big on scratch-offs...I think the most I've won on one ticket is $25 and the most I've paid is $5 for a ticket. I looked at the $20 ticket on my lunch break today, but I was too chicken to get it.

Congrats emilyg and DD on your $50 wins. That makes me want to try one out tomorrow

Hey Choq, check this out :

I watched a guy buy one of these $20 tickets yesterday, scratch it and win nada.

Then he got another, and nada.

Then he got another, and nada.

Then he got another, and nada.

4 x $20 = $80 without so much as a free ticket...

ouch.

He then bought 2 more and went outside the store with them...

I have no idea if they hit. I guess he was too embarrassed to let us know...

He said it didn't hurt at all .

He was very adamant about it. He said that he made plenty of money and if he wanted to play the lottery, it was his choice.

I told him he was 100% correct.

There was a store clerk that told him he was being foolish a while back ( he is a regular there,as am I ) and she is no longer there.

He takes some credit for her firing...

Tried one today. It was number 00.

This particular store puts them on the roll backwards.

It was the last one and "nobody wanted it".

I took a chance on it and made a quick $50.00
