They are giving away more top prizes ($100 and $1000). The $1000 top prize is given out every 70,000 tickets and the $100 prizes are given out every 5,250 tickets. This is a fixed amount of winners given out. The lottery simply modified their computer system to give out more prizes per x number of Fantasy 5 tickets bought.

The overall odds of winning anything are about the same (was 4.88 now 4.87).

Wow - I just noticed something! When did I become a Top 100 Poster? Gee, I'm really touched. It wasn't a goal or anything, but now I feel as if I just reached a milestone in my life and need to celebrate.

New FL Fantasy 5 Promotion

Anyone see the new promotion for EZ Match on the Fantasy 5? There will be an increase from a $500 instant prize to $1,000. There is also going to be more of the $100 prizes. This is a 4 week promo. Haven't heard any other info about it. Feb and March are the busiest months for tourism in Florida - Snowbird Season. (there's actually a song if it's snowbird season, why can't we shoot 'em?)
