Correction...today's race is the 7th race at Gulfstream, not the 9th. Sorry about that.

Today's race is the 9th at Gulfsream. It is 1 1/8 miles on the turf Allowance race with a 55.5K purse.

The story of this race is the star attraction, # 6 English Channel (6/5). He's dropping more in class than a divorced man. This horse is rated as one of the top turf horses in the nation. All of his former races are Grade I. Today's purse is so cheap it's not worth snatching. I'm thinking he is a shadow of his former self but I'll pick him to win easily today.
