Back Testing is best done using a number of different states at the same time. I track 22 states every day.

Hello All and thanks for the your Replies. I put this on here to get a general Idea how far everyone was back testing I don't want to go overboard. But I guess it depends on what state your in and when the patterns start showing, (if any do). I hope I didn't make anyone mad for posting this thinking I was saying the wrong thing I just wanted an Idea how far I should back test...

First, a system that works has to be defined. For me that's a system that gives me information about pass drawings so I can pick a reduced pool of numbers with the winning numbers for the next drawing, the smaller that pool, the better. I back test to the point where the current matrix started to see if I can use that information successfully and so far I haven't come up with a pool of numbers small enough that I could even afford to to cover half its possible combinations.
